In short
This site uses no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel and no ad network.
It does store a few things in your browser, and European electronic-privacy law covers any storage on your device, not only cookies. That is why we ask for your choice through a banner on your first visit.
What we store, specifically
Strictly necessary — no consent required
- Your choice about this banner, so we don't ask on every page. Without it we cannot honour your decision.
- The timing of your last form submissions, so we can limit repeat sends and block automated spam. This is a security measure for a service you asked for.
Preferences — only with your consent
- The language you pick, so we can take you straight to the right version next time.
Decline this category and we write nothing, and delete anything already saved. The site works exactly the same; it just asks again which language you prefer.
Not cookies — localStorage
All of the above use localStorage, a local storage mechanism. Unlike cookies, this information is never sent to our servers with each request — it stays in your browser. It cannot identify you and we build no profiles from it.
Changing your choice
At any time, through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. You can also clear everything from your browser settings, along with the site's data.
Third-party cookies
The contact form is processed by Netlify, our hosting provider. When a form is submitted, Netlify may set strictly necessary cookies for the operation and security of the service, including spam filtering. These do not appear from simply browsing the site.
